June 26, 2020 - Pantego Businesses Update!

As the COVID-19 Pandemic continues to affect Pantego and so many communities in Texas, the U.S., and the world, we are seeing the number of cases rise at exponential rates. One of the highest priorities during this time is preventing our hospital systems from being overwhelmed which means slowing community spread is of utmost importance. We know that one of the best ways to do that is by wearing masks.  Masks protect both the person wearing it and the people around them. Therefore, Tarrant County Judge Whitley has issued a new order for businesses and outdoor gatherings:  Tarrant County Executive Order 6-25-20

On Friday, June 26, Gov. Abbott issued Executive Order GA-28, which can be viewed here: Governor Abbott Executive Order 6-26-20
This order immediately closes bars in the state of Texas.
Restaurants may remain open, however beginning on Monday, June 29, a restaurant’s maximum allowable occupancy will be 50% of what their total occupancy would normally be considered.

Attention local business owners: All Tuesday morning Pantego Business Alliance meetings have been cancelled until after August 3rd.
